{"id":735,"date":"2013-09-20T18:07:48","date_gmt":"2013-09-20T18:07:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tabletop.magigames.org\/?p=735"},"modified":"2013-09-20T18:08:33","modified_gmt":"2013-09-20T18:08:33","slug":"saga-4-points-warlord-painted-based","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/tabletop.magigames.org\/?p=735","title":{"rendered":"SAGA: 4 Points &#038; Warlord Painted &#038; Based"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>My SAGA starter warband is completed at last. \u00a0The warlord and 4 points &#8211; 2 points of hearthguard and 2 points of warriors.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/tabletop.magigames.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/SAGA_4pts_warlaord_painted_based.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-734\" alt=\"SAGA_4pts_warlaord_painted_based\" src=\"http:\/\/tabletop.magigames.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/SAGA_4pts_warlaord_painted_based.jpg\" width=\"900\" height=\"489\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In the back is some terrain I made &#8211; I&#8217;ll have a post about that later.<\/p>\n<p>Next up is 1 point of levy: 12 bowmen. \u00a0I test assembled a bowman from the Wargames Factory unarmored saxons, and I just don&#8217;t like the way it looks. \u00a0So, I actually bought some GW minis. \u00a0My first ever. \u00a0I got a box of Warhammer Bretonnian Peasant Bowmen. \u00a0They look pretty good, and they come with a bunch of extras, like a wooden stake and chain defensive fortification, a dog, a nice flag banner, etc. \u00a0They are a touch shorter than the Wargames Factory minis, but no so much that it&#8217;s noticeable.<\/p>\n<p>Also on deck is 1 point of hearthguard, metal minis from Gripping Beast, and 1 point of warriors, also metal from Gripping Beast.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>My SAGA starter warband is completed at last. \u00a0The warlord and 4 points &#8211; 2 points of hearthguard and 2 points of warriors.
